Making a useful PDF from screenshots

Select a meaningful order

Start with the introduction and continue in the sequence a reader should follow. Reorder the list before generating the file rather than relying on filenames to imply a sequence.

Capture enough context

A tight crop may omit a date, label or heading that explains the screenshot. Prepare a clear source image and avoid including unrelated private information.

Understand the result

An image PDF is a collection of pictures. It does not make the text searchable or editable by itself. If searchable text is essential, a separate OCR workflow is needed.
